We continued our road trip to Yellowstone National Park, where we had four full days to explore its beauty. Quickly after entering the park, we saw our first bison sighting and we soon realized there were thousands of them throughout the park. We spent our first night at Under The Canvas in West Yellowstone.

Our second day in Yellowstone was dedicated to hot springs, geysers, springs and pools! They are scattered throughout the entire park and each one is unique in its own way. The Grand Prismatic below was our favorite!

We enjoyed walking through the different pathways and learning the names of each one - Blue Star, Castle Geyser, Morning Glory, Old Faithful, Bee Hive and so many more! If it didn't have a name, we would be sure to give it one of our own.

Danny brought his fishing line, so we got our fishing permit and spent a few mornings and afternoons fishing by the river. It was nice to have some down time and pick up a new hobby!

We camped in Yellowstone and on the first night we woke up to two bison sleeping about ten feet from our tent! We were both pretty scared and decided to car camp the rest of the night. Our last few stops in Yellowstone included Black Sands, Biscuit Basin, and Norris Basin - all of which included similar geysers, springs and pools as above. We were hoping to see more wildlife, so decided to make our way to Lamar Valley in search of moose and bear. Throughout our drive we saw Big Horn Sheep, Black Bear, Moose, Grizzly, and a badger!
